Welcome to Your Whistler Training HQ
The Whistler Athletes’ Centre is the ideal home base for athletes of all sports and any level, with services and amenities to support all your training and competition needs.
High-Performance Training Centre
Available exclusively for targeted Canadian athletes, the High-Performance Training Centre features a 4,000 sq. ft. strength and conditioning gym, a 5,000 sq. ft. gymnastics hall, recovery and regeneration rooms, change and shower facilities, exercise physiology testing room, rental offices and a 1,300 sq. ft. multi-purpose room. Eligible athletes and teams (no public access) can book directly with the Canadian Sport Institute Pacific, via email to Craig Hill:
- Sport Canada nationally carded athletes from across Canada
- National Teams (targeted summer and winter sports)
- Provincially identified athletes (as per PSO eligibility criteria)

- Plyometric boxes: Hard and Soft
- Body toning bars: 6lbs – 24lbs
- Agility & SAQ Tools: Ladders, rings, skip ropes, cones etc.
- Hurdles: 6”, 9”,12” 18” and athletic
- Recovery Tools: Foam rollers, yoga blocks, Pilate balls
- 20+ Ariex™ mats
Who Can Use The Hub?
- Community members for scheduled fitness classes
- Local businesses and sport organizations for meetings, dry land training or athlete testing
- Visiting sport groups for dryland training, testing, coaching workshops or team meetings
- National, Provincial or local sport organizations or teams coming to Whistler for camps or competitions
- Athletes or teams staying at the Whistler Athletes lodge for meetings, or training.
- Personal Trainers to book space to train clients.

Proximity to Key Venues
Andrée Vajda Janyk Sports Field & Bayly Park: Just across the road. Multi-use, illuminated artificial turf sports field, two sand volleyball courts, a multi-sport court and a tennis court (including pickleball lines). All are open for public use; however, the sports field needs to be reserved to be used, including by athletes, for casual training. More information here.
Whistler Olympic Park: 19km (cross-country skiing, biathlon, Nordic combined, ski jumping, roller skiing, trail running, mountain biking, meeting room rentals, team building events)
Whistler Sliding Centre: 11km (bobsleigh, luge, skeleton, meeting room rentals, team building events)
Whistler Mountain: 4km (alpine skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, trail running)
Blackcomb Mountain: 8km (alpine skiing, snowboarding, ski/board cross course, half-pipe, summer glacier skiing, hiking, trail running)
Whistler Lakes and Rivers: 1 to 8km (paddling and rowing sports, open-water swimming, triathlon)
Whistler Trails and Roads: less than 1km (mountain biking, road cycling, cross-country running)
